Adam Gottlieb is a poet/emcee/singer-songwriter, leader of the reggae-fusion band Adam Gottlieb & OneLove, teaching-artist, journalist, and revolutionary from Chicago. His work is rooted in grassroots movements for social justice and basic human needs. He teaches the 8th grade class at the Chicago Interfaith Family School (where he also attended Sunday school as a youth), as well as 7th grade Jewish education at Congregation Solel-Lakeside in Highland Park, IL. In his religious/interfaith cultural work, he also serves as a Teaching Artist for Olive Tree Arts Network, and serves as a liturgical poet and musician for the Jewish Congregation Tzedek Chicago. He works as the Curriculum Director for the non-profit Teen Writers and Artists Project. He is an organizer of artists and a regular contributor of poetry, interviews, and articles to the People's Tribune. His band released a debut EP in 2017, “Cicada Season,” and is planning to release its first full album, “All of You” in the summer of 2019.
