Rosh Hashana Day Labyrinth Walk and Tashlich with Mitziut

Rabbi Menachem Cohen of Mitziut has graciously invited the Makom community to two live events on Rosh Hashana afternoon.

Spiritual labyrinth walk, 2 PM: Walking the labyrinth is a centuries old spiritual practice. Rabbi Menachem will coach us through this deep reflective process. Meet at the labyrinth behind the gardens at St. Scholastica, 7430 N Ridge. Use the driveway north of the semi-circular drive for the school.

Tashlich and shofar, 4 PM: We will meet at Loyola Park, on the beach at the end of Greenleaf Ave. to cast our unwanted baggage into the waters and hear the shofar in person. Some people may wish to throw themselves in the water for a deep spiritual cleanse. The air may be chilly but the water will still be warm.

(Mitziut will also have a full service schedule on Zoom for those interested. See the Mitziut Facebook page for details.)
